In a major move towards clean and sustainable energy, NTPC Darlipali signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the ESTAH Society for installing 5 KVA off-grid solar power systems in government schools across Bargarh district, Odisha.
The ₹3.5 crore project will provide uninterrupted electricity to 50 government schools, improving infrastructure and creating a better learning environment for students. This green initiative highlights NTPC’s commitment to promoting renewable energy solutions and reducing dependence on traditional power sources in rural areas.
The agreement was signed by Shri Faiz Taiyab, Chief General Manager, NTPC Darlipali, and Shri Subrata Sengupta from ESTAH Society, in the presence of senior NTPC officials. The collaboration marks an important step towards ensuring sustainable and equitable energy access for educational institutions in remote regions, reinforcing NTPC’s role in driving India’s clean energy mission.
