Darlipali :
Reaffirming
its commitment to community welfare and public health, NTPC Darlipali
extended nutritional food support to tuberculosis (TB) patients under
the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan by participating as a Nikshay
Mitra.
Under
the initiative, NTPC Darlipali has committed to provide nutritional support
to 60 TB patients from Lephripada Block for a period of one year, with the
objective of supporting their recovery, immunity, and overall well-being.
Adequate nutrition is a critical component of TB treatment and plays a key role
in improving health outcomes.
The
distribution programme was organised at the Community Health Centre (CHC),
Sargipali, in the presence of health officials from CHC and representatives
of NTPC Darlipali, highlighting effective coordination between healthcare
authorities and the organisation.
By
associating as a Nikshay Mitra, NTPC Darlipali is actively supporting
the Government of India’s vision of a TB-free India. The initiative
forms an integral part of NTPC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
efforts aimed at strengthening healthcare services and improving the quality of
life in communities around its project areas.
