Shivlings are nothing but nuclear reactors, that's why water is offered to them, so that they remain calm. All the favorite substances of Mahadev like Bilva Patra, Aakamad, Dhatura, Gudhal etc. are all going to absorb nuclear energy.
Because the water poured on the Shivling also becomes reactive, that's why it does not cross the drainage channel. The design of Bhabha Atomic Reactor is also similar to that of Shivling. The water offered on the Shivling takes the form of medicine by mixing with the flowing water of the river. That's why our forefathers used to tell us that if Mahadev Shiv Shankar gets angry, holocaust will come. Notice how deep science is hidden behind our traditions. The culture from the womb of which we have taken birth is eternal. Science has been dressed in tradition so that it becomes a trend and we Indians always live a scientific life. You will be surprised to know that there are such important Shiva temples in India which are built in a straight line from Kedarnath to Rameswaram. . Wonder what kind of science and technology our ancestors had that we haven't been able to understand till today? Kedarnath of Uttarakhand, Kaleshwaram of Telangana, Kalahasti of Andhra Pradesh, Ekambareshwar of Tamil Nadu, Chidambaram and finally Rameshwaram temples are built in the geographical straight line of 79°E 41'54" Longitude. All these temples represent the manifestation of gender in 5 elements of nature, which we call Panchabhuta in common language. Panchabhuta means earth, water, fire, air and space. On the basis of these five elements, these five Shivlingas have been established. Water is represented in Tiruvanaikaval temple, fire is represented in Tiruvannamalai,
Air is represented in Kalahasti, Earth is represented in Kanchipuram and finally Space or Akash is represented in Chidambaram Temple. These five temples represent a wonderful fusion of Vastu-Science-Veda. Geographically also specialty is found in these temples. These five temples were built according to yogic science, and are placed in a definite geographical alignment with each other. There must be some science behind this which must be affecting the human body. These temples were built about five thousand years ago when there was no satellite technology available to measure the latitude and longitude of those places. Then how were the five temples installed so precisely? Only God knows the answer. The distance between Kedarnath and Rameswaram is 2383 km. But all these temples fall almost in the same parallel line. After all thousands of years ago, using which technique these temples were made in parallel line, it remains a mystery till date. The flickering lamp in Srikalahasti temple shows that The Vayu Linga is the water spring in the inner plinth of the Thiruvanikka temple suggests that it is a water linga.
The huge lamp on the Annamalai hill shows that it is a fire linga. The Swayambhu Linga of sand at Kanchipuram suggests that it is the Prithvi Linga and the formless state at Chidambaram suggests the formlessness of the Lord i.e. the sky element. The five lingas have been enshrined centuries ago in a similar line. We should be proud of the knowledge and intelligence of our forefathers that they had such science and technology which even modern science has not been able to penetrate. It is believed that not only these five temples, but there will be many temples in this line which fall in a straight line from Kedarnath to Rameshwaram. This line is also called "Shiv Shakti Aksha Rekha". Probably all these temples were built keeping in mind Kailash which falls in 81.3119° E!? Only Shivji knows the answer. It is amazing to see the relationship between Shiva Jyotirlingas from "Mahakal".
