Player has been select from jharsuda, for Asian Thaiboxing 2024

 

Jharsuguda :-

1 player had been selected from Jharsuguda, Odisha for The Asian Thaiboxing Championship 2024.

 This championship has been held in Pedem Indoor Stadium, Goa from 15 Nov 2024 to 17 Nov 2024 in which many talented athletes from Asia had participated.

Nikhat Bano in senior category (65 kg) participated in the (Low Thigh) event represented India and secured a gold medal. She first won the match in quarter finals against her opponent from Bangadesh then won finals against Nepal.

Earlier also all the player had participated in the South Asian Championship 2023 held in Kathmandu, Nepal in which Nikhat Bano had secured silver medal. The player had been selected on the basis of their excellent performance in the Thaiboxing India National Championship and the guidelines of the Thaiboxing India Federation. Odisha Thaiboxing Association has appreciated the hard work and dedication of the player and wished her all the best for the championship.
