Smt. Babita Suna, Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, Mahila Police Station, Berhampur, was apprehended by Odisha Vigilance for accepting a bribe of Rs. 10,000/- in exchange for assistance in a case. Smt. Suna had demanded the bribe from a complainant, threatening to arrest him and his mother, who were involved in a case registered at Mahila PS. The complainant reported the matter to Vigilance authorities, leading to Smt. Suna's arrest.
